FUNDRAISING & ELIGIBILITY ITEMS

All of your fundraising items are due by December 1st. That does not mean you have to wait until then to turn them in. Avoid the rush and potential late fines by turning everything in before the deadline.

Minimum requirements for all Region 1 members are:

1 - $50 program ad for the Texas High School Rodeo Finals

1 - $50 Bloomer trailer raffle ticket

15 - $5 Dodge truck tickets (total of $75)

** The April 1st deadline shown on your State ad forms is the FINAL day for ADDITIONAL ad sales - not your $50 minimum requirement.

NEW ITEMS FOR 2009-2010

Only new members will receive rulebooks this year.

Report cards will be due when you join and following every six or nine week grading period - whichever applies to your school district.

Juniors (soon to be seniors) will be asked to sell the required 50/50 tickets at the State Finals in June.

Entry fees have increased to $25 in each event.

The $5 office charge remains the same.

Stock charges are built into the Tri-State entry fees. If you are only entering as a Region 1 contestant, you will need to add the amount of the stock charge to your total fees.

Members who only compete in the cutting will be required to pay the $5 office charge for each event they enter. The total for the year may be paid when entering for the State Finals.

CATTILAC STYLE

Texas High School Rodeo Association has a new logo merchandising company this year. They are Cattilac Style out of Abilene. For those of you who have been around a few years, Cattilac Style was the official logo company for THSRA for about 15 years. Below is a link to their website (click on logo below.)

When you place an order through Cattilac Style, make sure you let them know that you are a member of Region 1. For every order placed by one of our members, Region 1 receives a commission.

** Deadline to have your order in time for Abilene is May 15th. Order forms need to be sent directly to Cattilac Style. The address is on the order form.
